Glorious Perfection. "The area all around Kaltern is truly a place of harmony and pleasure, and I dare anyone to attempt to reproduce it with a pen or paintbrush. Here, the typical Etsch River landscape is depicted in its most magnificent perfection. The figs cook their sugars against the sun-warmed walls. There are aromatic medlar trees, deep red pomegranates and various sorts of delicate apples and pears, which grow here in abundance. The local wine is a wonderful drink, which is good for digestion. With a round of applause, I give priority to the Kalterersee wine!
